According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Oklahoma offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley has interviewed for the head coaching position at North Texas.

North Texas fired Dan McCarney earlier this season after an 0-5 start.

Riley is in his first season at Oklahoma. He came to OU from East Carolina and replaced offensive coordinators Josh Heupel and Jay Norvell.

The Star-Telegram reported North Texas also has listed Arizona State offensive line coach Chris Thomsen as well as Texas A&M offensive coordinator Jake Spavital as candidates for the job.
