Mack Brown is the head coach of arguably the most powerful program in college football.
So when it comes to the debate if players should be paid, the face of the Texas Longhorns says yes, according to ESPN Sports Business Reporter & ABC News Business Correspondent Darren Rovell.
That's easy for Brown to say when his athletic department makes enough money to hand out big paychecks. Forbes named Texas the most valuable college football team, reportedly worth $133 million.
In case you were wondering where Red River rival Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops stands on the subject, he said in an interview with SportingNews earlier this year that college players already get enough with a free education.
"I don't get why people say these guys don't get paid," Stoops told SportingNews. "It's simple, they are paid quite often, quite a bit and quite handsomely."
