Report: Fan who jumped into ring at WWE event gets 10 days in jail
The fan who jumped into the ring during Sunday's WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view is reportedly going to have time to think about his foolhardy actions.
Oscar Ramirez, 37, of Houston will spend 10 days in jail, according to PWInsider.com.
WWE has said it plans on cracking down on fans who disrupt its events. This is the first instance in which a fan is learning the organization means business.
Ramirez hopped into the ring Sunday night prior to a six-man tag-team match featuring the Wyatt Family against Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and "surprise" partner Chris Jericho.
Ramirez was looking at six months for criminal trespass of a property or building with no forced entry.
Rather than go to trial he accepted a 10-day sentence.
So the jackass who jumped in the ring at #nightofchampions got sentenced to jail time. Let this be a lesson to all…stay out of OUR ring! ?
