Aaron Curry, son of a former Oklahoma basketball player, says he is transferring to Oklahoma to play football, according to Soonerscoop.com.
Curry, 6-foot-1, 280 pounds, started eight games last season at Nebraska at defensive tackle. He would have two years of eligibility left at OU and be eligible for the 2015 season.
Curry was not offered a scholarship out of Fossil Ridge High in Keller, Texas. Curry was a three-star recruit. His father, Aaron, played basketball at OU.
