Chapel Hill, NC --- Reports surfaced Thursday night that contradict some of the damaging points made in a Yahoo! Sports piece released Wednesday night that financially linked former North Carolina associate head coach and recruiting coordinator John Blake with agent Gary Wichard of Pro Tect Management.
According to a report by the Associated Press and reproduced by ESPN.com, a prominent attorney representing Blake said the seven exchanges of money between Wichard and Blake, one of which was described in the Yahoo! Story as a $45,000 personal loan, were made before and early in Blake
