Report: Bengals possibly interested in Bridgewater

According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, former Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is in the discussion as a fallback option for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Bridgewater was once thought to be the top quarterback in the draft, but after a less than stellar pro day his draft stock has dropped.

Although quarterback Andy Dalton has led the team to the playoffs the past two years, a home loss to San Diego in last year's first round has some wondering about Dalton's ability to win the big game.

The Bengals drafted Dalton in 2011, and he has started every game since. Last year was Dalton's most productive season, throwing for over 4,000 yards and 33 touchdowns which was third best in the league behind only Peyton Manning and Drew Brees.
