Remembering what it's like to be a Browns fan

1. I'll never forget the feeling I'd get as a little kid when I'd go to a stadium or an arena with one of my parents. I was a sports junkie with a vivid imagination, and nothing made that imagination run more wildly than walking from the concourse into the main bowl at Richfield Coliseum, or emerging from below to actually see the lights and the bands at the Rubber Bowl or Massillon Paul Brown Stadium. There was nothing like being there, soaking up the atmosphere and seeing, from either row one or row 101, what I usually only saw on television or pretended to see when I'd sneak the radio into my room and listen to games -- any game, any level, any time of year -- when I was supposed to be sleeping.
