Regional EMMY Awards go to FOX Sports Ohio & SportsTime Ohio Productions
CLEVELAND, OH - FOX Sports Ohio and SportsTime Ohio won EMMY Awards at the Lower Great Lakes Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' 45th Annual EMMY Awards, held downtown Cleveland on Saturday, June 7th. These awards recognize television excellence in Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Indianapolis, Toledo, Fort Wayne, and Erie.
FOX Sports Ohio won the category for best live unedited sporting event with its coverage of Cleveland Cavaliers basketball. This marks the fourth EMMY Award for the networkâs coverage of the Cavs.
SportsTime Ohio's Indians Live pregame show from September 25th, 2013 won for best sports program along with best director Patrick Murray for Cleveland Indians baseball.
