Reds reinstate Parra, option Waldrop to Triple A Louisville
On Tueday, the Reds reinstated from the 15-day disabled list LHP Manny Parra and optioned to Class AAA Louisville OF Kyle Waldrop.

Earlier today was reinstated from the 15-day disabled list...has been on the DL twice this season, from 4/29-5/24 with a strained neck and since 7/20 with a sprained left elbow...in the 14-3 loss on 7/11 at Mia allowed 5 earned runs without retiring a batter...his ERA in his other 23 apps is 1.50 (18ip, 3er)...after he came off the DL on 5/25 retired his first 21 batters until 6/20 vs Mia, when his first batter Dee Gordon doubled...on 6/26 at NYM made his 300th career appearance.
