The Cincinnati Reds' number three prospect earned his first professional victory on Sunday.
Robert Stephenson was drafted in the first round in 2011 and signed with the team just before the deadline for draft picks to join their franchise. However, last night was his first win for the Reds organization.
He struck out the first six batters he faced en route to 9 Ks in a five-inning performance as the Billings Mustangs beat Grand Junction 9-3.
Stephenson allowed only one run, a solo home run in the fourth inning.
