CINCINNATI (AP) -- The Reds called up right-hander Greg Reynolds to start the final game of their series against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday in place of left-hander Tony Cingrani, who went on the 15-day disabled list.
Reynolds was set to make his second start this season for the Reds. He pitched the second game of a doubleheader on July 23 in San Francisco, giving up five runs in five innings of a 5-3 loss.

Reynolds was the second overall pick in the 2006 draft, going to Colorado. He made 16 starts and 27 appearances overall for the Rockies in 2008 and 2011.
Cingrani had to leave his last start because of a strained lower back.
The Reds moved reliever Jonathan Broxton to the 60-day DL, two days after his season-ending forearm surgery.
