ST. LOUIS (AP) Dwayne Evans scored 14 points to pace crisp-shooting Saint Louis to its fourth-straight win and second victory in the Cancun Challenge tournament, running away from Bowling Green 74-47 Saturday night.
The Billikens (4-0) now head to Mexico, where they face Wisconsin Tuesday at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera in Cancun.
Neither team scored in the first three minutes of the contest and Saint Louis led by just three with 4:12 remaining in the half, but a pair of Austin McBroom 3-pointers sparked a closing run that saw the Billikens with a 10-point advantage, 29-19 at intermission.
Tanner Lacona scored a dozen points off the Saint Louis bench and Mike McCall added another 11.
Spencer Parker led Bowling Green (1-3) with 13 points. The Falcons open Tuesday's play in Cancun when they face Presbyterian.
