The Tampa Bay Rays tendered contracts to all six of their arbitration-eligible players Tuesday: Right-hander Alex Cobb, utility man Logan Forsythe, outfielder Desmond Jennings, outfielder Matt Joyce, reliever Jake McGee and left-hander Drew Smyly.

The decisions were made before the non-tender deadline at midnight Tuesday. Any arbitration-eligible players throughout the majors who aren't tendered contracts by the deadline become free agents. Players tendered contracts can begin negotiations with their teams on a salary for the 2015 season.

Salary arbitration filings are due Jan. 13. Salary figures from 2014 for the Rays' arbitration-eligible players are as follows: Cobb $516,900; Forsythe $509,700; Jennings $517,000; Joyce $3.7 million; McGee $1.45 million; and Smyly $520,000.
