Rays dress for (what they hope is) success for trip west

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Rays jetted west in their Sunday best.

Sunday evening marked the start of another themed road trip for Tampa Bay, and this one had a formal feel. The Rays, following a 7-5 loss to the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday at Tropicana Field, prepared to fly to begin a 10-game, 11-day jaunt against the Oakland Athletics, Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers.

Officially, the theme was a nod to James Bond and his slick threads. But relievers Jake McGee and Brad Boxberger pulled off an impressive fashion statement that served as their own hat tip to Hollywood.
