The Texas Rangers agreed to a one year, $4.125-million deal with closer Neftali Feliz Thursday.

Feliz was one of three Rangers who was arbitration eligible, with Ross Detwiler and Neftali Feliz the other two.

Feliz, who is expected to be the Texas closer this season, ended the 2014 campaign with that role following the trade of Joakim Soria. Feliz began the season at Triple A. He pitched the final two months of the season with the Rangers, going 2-1 with a 1.99 ERA and 13 saves.

The right-hander has 87 career saves, which ranks fourth all time in club history.
