Rangers' Prince Fielder shows off his dance moves
ARLINGTON, Texas -- Things are going well for Prince Fielder on the field for the Texas Rangers.
That apparently translates to dance moves too.
The Texas Rangers designated hitter/first baseman was caught on camera during Wednesday night's game showing off his moves for teammates Adrian Beltre and Elvis Andrus.
Fielder, who is hitting .346, was pleased with his dancing game.
"I was messing with Adrian," Fielder said. "It's very rare that I can get him to be speechless so I was excited and did a little dance. The hips were loose. Everything was loose. The glutes were firing. It's all part of it."
It's easy to be a dancing mood when you're seeing the ball as well as Fielder. On the current Texas homestand Fielder is batting .462 with two home runs and five RBI. And the dance Wednesday came after Fielder hit a home run that cleared the Texas bullpen.
