ARLINGTON, Texas - The Texas Rangers have wasted little time in coming to terms with the top picks from last week's first-year player draft.

Texas agreed to a deal with first-round selection Luis Ortiz and signed its second, third and fourth-round picks. Shortstop Ti'Quan Forbes, their second-round choice, is getting a $1.2 million signing bonus. Josh Morgan, another shortstop and the team's third-round pick, got an $800,000 bonus and fourth-rounder Josh Martin, a left-handed pitcher, received $400,000.

Texas has now reached deals or signed nine of its top-10 picks. The only unsigned selection is seventh-round pick Nick Green.

Forbes, Morgan and Martin were at Globe Life Park Tuesday and will report to Surprise, Ariz., tomorrow to begin their professional careers.
