The Texas Rangers will have special seating sections for Yu Darvish starts at Rangers Ballpark this season.
Sections 201-208 will be called the Kia Yuniverse. Fans who sit in those sections will receive special t-shirts as well as a yellow and black K card.
Fans can buy tickets in the section once it’s announced when Darvish is starting a game at Rangers Ballpark.
In the event Darvish is scheduled to pitch and does not make his start, all tickets are valid for that game and fans will still receive a shirt. There will be no ticket refunds or exchanges in the sections. Shirts will be available in adult small, medium, large and extra large.
Darvish isn’t the only pitcher in the American League West with his own seating section. Seattle has a King’s Court section set up for Felix Hernandez starts.
Darvish, who went 16-9 last season, was 10-2 at Rangers Ballpark.
