ARLINGTON, Texas - While the Texas Rangers made wholesale changes to their current second base situation Thursday, more could be coming.
Second baseman Jurickson Profar, who has been on the disabled list all season with a muscle tear in his right shoulder, will likely head to Arizona next week to continue his rehab.
Profar is on the 60-day DL and isn't eligible to play until May 29.

General manager Jon Daniels said Profar's time at the team's complex in Surprise will begin with live batting practice before he starts playing in extended spring games. Daniels said Profar's game action would begin as a designated hitter before he starts seeing action at second. He'd then move on to an affiliate to continue his rehab.
