The Rangers have given non-roster spring training invitations to right-hander Cody Buckel, outfielder Joey Butler, catcher Jose Felix and right-hander Nick Tepesch.

It will be the first time in big league camp for Buckel, Butler and Felix.

Buckel went a combined 10-8 last year playing for Myrtle Beach and Frisco and was the organization’s minor league pitcher of the year. Butler spent all of 2012 at Triple A Round Rock, hitting .290 with 20 home runs and 78 RBI. Felix, who was in camp with the Rangers two years ago, hit .260 at Frisco last year. Tepesch went a combined 11-6 between Myrtle Beach and Frisco.

The additions put the Texas camp roster at 63 players, 23 of them non-roster invitees.

Texas pitchers and catchers report to Surprise, Ariz., Feb. 12 with workouts beginning Feb. 13.
