Rams all-time leading rusher signs with Atlanta
It is official. The Rams' all-time leading rusher, Steven Jackson, will no longer call St. Louis home.
After voiding the final year of his contract with the club and testing free agency, it appears that Jackson has found a home with the Atlanta Falcons. Jackson had stated that his desire was to play with a contending franchise, but didn't want a reduced role.
The Falcons announced the move via their official Twitter account Thursday.

In nine seasons with the Rams, Jackson eclipsed 1,000 yards rushing eight times and amassed 10,135 yards with 56 rushing touchdowns. His 13,459 yards from scrimmage rank first in the NFL since 2004 and second in club history behind only Isaac Bruce (14,259). The deal is worth $12 million, according to the Associated Press.
