Quentin, Alonso homer as D'Backs beat Padres 8-6

PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) -- Paul Goldschmidt scored three runs, Martin Prado got three hits and the Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the San Diego Padres 8-6 Tuesday.
Prado doubled and is 10 for 15 this spring.
Leadoff man A.J. Pollock doubled twice, singled and scored twice. Goldschmidt had two hits and Aaron Hill added an RBI double.
Carlos Quentin homered in his first at-bat of spring training, connecting on a 3-0 pitch from Arizona starter Randall Delgado in the second inning.

Yonder Alonso hit a solo homer off Delgado in the third and also singled.
