When a 10-pound, 21-centimeter tumor was found in Remy Wilson's abdomen in eighth grade, overwhelming odds pointed to the end of her volleyball career. A senior at Newport Harbor High School, Wilson used her determination and passion for the game to prove everyone wrong. And next year, Remy will compete in beach volleyball at her dream school -- UCLA -- under former Olympian Stein Metzger.
