COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) The top three finishers in individual Olympic-distance swimming events at the Arena Grand Prix Series will be getting more money.

USA Swimming said Monday that title sponsor Arena is doubling the prize money to $300,000 for the six-meet series.

In each event, winners will receive $1,000, second-place finishers will earn $600 and third-place will be worth $200. Swimmers with remaining NCAA eligibility won't be able to accept prize money.
