Prince Amukamara storms court after ASU upsets Arizona

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 12:09 p.m. ET

New York Giants defensive back Prince Amukamara went to Nebraska, but on Saturday he was rooting or Arizona State on the hardwood.

His connection to the Sun Devils, other than Amukamara playing at nearby Apollo High School, is a strong one. Amukamara's sisters, Peace and Promise, both play for the ASU women's hoops squad.

So Prince was at the men's game as the Sun Devils upset the Wildcats 81-78. He was also with the student section as it stormed the court at Wells Fargo Arena. Amukamara used his Twitter account to take his followers right into the frenzy. We're talking about a perfectly executed cell phone video selfie, in a mob of gold, no less.

Amukamara's offseason seems to be pretty busy. So far, he's made an appearance on a sketch from Key and Peele's Super Bowl Special show on Comedy Central (check the 1:45 mark of the video) and teased the Seahawks after their Super Bowl loss.

ASU fans can especially appreciate the Giants defensive back playing embedded journalist during a season-altering win for their basketball program.
