Power has just been restored at HP Pavillion, home of the Sharks, and tonight's Red Wings-Sharks will go on as scheduled.
According to a report on the San Jose Mercury News website, power went out at approximately 10 a.m. PST, and workers were having trouble locating the problem. There was emergency power being supplied by arena generators, but it wasn't enough light to play the game.
The game is scheduled to start at 10:30 p.m. EST (on FOX Sports Detroit).
