Los Angeles, Calif - The Kings have recalled forward Dwight King from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League and have placed forward Alexei Ponikarovsky on the injured reserve list (retroactive to November 7), Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced Tuesday.
King, 21, has not played in the NHL.
