Trainer Todd Pletcher swept both stakes at Belmont Park as Kauai Katie and Overanalyze won the $200,000 races for 2-year-olds on Sunday.
Rosie Napravnik was aboard as Kauai Katie, the 1-5 favorite, improved to 3 for 3 with a dominant, 7-1/2-length triumph over Baby J in the Matron for fillies. She ran six furlongs in 1 minute, 11.26 seconds and paid $2.40 to win.
Overanalyze rebounded from a fourth-place finish in the Hopeful Stakes at Saratoga to capture the Futurity with a last-to-first rally, beating Carried Interest by 3-1/4 lengths. John Velazquez guided the colt to his second win in three starts.
Overanalyze returned $13.60 on a $2 win bet after running six furlongs in 1:11.46.
