The Detroit Pistons unveiled their new alternate "Motor City" jerseys Wednesday afternoon with Greg Monroe modeling on Instagram.

The Pistons' first alternate look since the 2005-06 season showcases the club's Detroit pride.

“We are pleased to unveil our new Motor City uniforms and display our pride in the metro Detroit community,” Dennis Mannion, CEO of Palace Sports & Entertainment and the Detroit Pistons said in a press release.

“When you say Motor City – no matter where you are in the world – everyone knows you are talking about Detroit. We are proud to represent Detroit and hope these uniforms will serve as a source of pride for our fans and this region.”

The alternate uniforms will be worn at nine Sunday home games and on Friday, Nov 29 vs. the Lakers.

Motor City jerseys of Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond, Josh Smith, Chauncey Billups and Brandon Jennings will go on sale later this year. Fans can put their names on a waiting list here.
