Peyton Manning: 'The Cowboys fans were rocking'
ARLINGTON — It wasn't difficult to spot the orange jerseys and shirts the Denver Broncos fans were wearing at AT&T Stadium on Sunday.
Several thousand Broncos faithful cheered on Denver to a 51-48 victory over the host Dallas Cowboys.
Visiting teams like the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers have attracted such large numbers of their fan base to Jerry Jones' $1.2 billion venue that some say those games were like road games for the Cowboys.
Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning said he didn't feel like he was playing a home game on Sunday.
"It's a heck of a stadium," Manning said. "Certainly a lot of Broncos fans there. It was loud. Certainly a tough place to play. The Cowboys fans were rocking, especially early in the game when they were up 14-nothing and then there at the end when they took the lead, so it's a tough place to play."
Cowboys fans have been criticized for not providing an advantageous home field atmosphere at AT&T Stadium in past years. Through three home contests this season, it's safe to say they've done their job.
