preseason with an easy 123-86 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.
Vince Carter added a game-high 26 points for the Magic, who open the regular
season against the 76ers on October 28. Brandon Bass had 14 points and six
rebounds off the bench for Orlando, which shot 61.3 percent from the field.
Jamal Crawford ended with 14 points for the Hawks, who begin the regular
season against the Pacers on October 28. Joe Johnson and Randolph Morris each
chipped in with 11 points. Josh Smith tallied 10 points and six boards for
Atlanta, which made just 37.5 percent of its shots.
The Magic ended the preseason with an 8-0 mark, while the Hawks ended with a
