The New Orleans Pelicans will be without starting forward Anthony Davis for four to six weeks.

Doctors in New Orleans diagnosed Davis with a non-displaced fracture of the fifth metacarpal of his left hand Tuesday afternoon, once the team returned from their road trip up North.

Davis fractured his hand during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the New York Knicks when he hit his hand on the rim of the basket.
