New Orleans Pelicans center Greg Stiemsma's left knee injury is worse than what fans were hoping.
An MRI reveales Stiemsma suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee during the second quarter of Tuesday night's road game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Stiemsma had to be helped off the court with a trainer on either side of him.
He's expected to miss 6-8 weeks.
