Pardoned: Former President declines Jones' Super Bowl invite

Everyone knows about President Barack Obama's promise to attend the Super Bowl had his Chicago Bears represented the NFC, but a former president was close to making the trip to Dallas, as well.
As first reported by The Dallas Morning News, Bill Clinton was invited by Jerry Jones to attend the game when the two ran into each other at the funeral of their mutual friend, former Tyson Foods chairman and CEO Don Tyson, earlier this month.
Last week, however, Clinton called Jones to let him know that he would be unable to attend the game, but that he would be interested in attending a home game next season.
If Clinton does wind up attending next season, it will be another coup for Jones in his quest to make his stadium the premier venue in sports
