Panthers announce seven-game preseason schedule
The Florida Panthers will take part in seven preseason games, the team announced Tuesday.
Florida will begin with a double header against the Nashville Predators on Sept. 16, 2013, with the first game being held at 2:30 p.m. and the second at 7 p.m.
The team will then head to Texas for three days of training camp and a home-and-home series with the Dallas Stars. The Panthers will face the Stars on Sept. 18 at the American Airlines Center at 8:30 p.m. followed by a contest in San Antonio, home to Florida's American Hockey League Affiliate, two nights later.
Florida returns to the Sunshine State on and will face the Tampa Bay Lightning in three consecutive games. The first will take place in Tampa on Sept. 21. The second at Germain Arena in Estero, Fla. on Sept. 26. Florida concludes its preseason on Sept. 28 against its intrastate rival at 7 p.m.
