FOX Sports San Diego Celebrates Padres Season Opener
Monday, April 1, with Full Slate of Padres Programming
Over 12 Hours of Padres-Related Programming Including an Extended One-Hour Padres LIVE Pregame Show Starting at 9 a.m. PST and the Debut of Padres Weekly at 1:30 p.m. PST
San Diego – FOX Sports San Diego will celebrate Monday’s 2013 Padres Season Opener in a major way, with a full slate of Padres-related programming starting at 6:00 a.m. PST. Leading off the marathon will be a series of Cup of Coffee with Dick Enberg shows, featuring Padres players Anthony Bass, Yonder Alonso, Cameron Maybin and Huston Street, followed by the 2013 Padres Season Preview Show airing at 8:00 a.m. PST. A special one-hour Padres LIVE pregame show will take fans right up to first pitch at Citi Field vs. the New York Mets at 10:10 a.m. PST.
Hall of Fame broadcaster, Dick Enberg, and former Padres pitcher, Mark Grant, return to the broadcast booth for their second season on FOX Sports San Diego. Mike Pomeranz and Mark Sweeney also return as hosts of Padres LIVE pregame and postgame shows, produced live this year from FOX Sports San Diego’s newly installed studios during the Padres’ away games.
FOX Sports San Diego will follow its live game coverage with a half-hour Padres LIVE postgame show, as well as the debut of Padres Weekly at 1:30 p.m. PST. More Padres-related programming continues including Cup of Coffee with Dick Enberg featuring Padres Manager Bud Black, as well as two Padres Live Instructionals, leading up to a 3:30 p.m. PST re-air of the morning’s Padres vs. Mets game.
