According to Nielsen Media Research, Monday night’s 13-inning 5-3 Padres win over the Giants produced an overall average rating of 4.46 in the San Diego market, equating to nearly 48,000 households. The previous record was a 4.37 rating set during Friday’s Padres vs. D-backs telecast.
The Padres are currently one game out of first place in the NL West and look to continue their seven-game win streak tonight against the Giants. Coverage begins with Padres Live at 6:30 P.M. on FOX Sports San Diego.
