GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Colt Lyerla has found a home in the NFL, officially signing Monday with the Green Bay Packers.
Lyerla, whose off-the-field issues dropped his draft stock all the way from potentially being a mid-round pick to not even getting a contract offer as a non-drafted free agent, impressed the Packers when he was in as a tryout player during rookie orientation.
Lyerla will now join Green Bay's tight ends in training camp.
