GREEN BAY, Wis. — Two days after releasing linebacker Vic So'oto from the active roster, the Packers have signed the 25-year-old to their practice squad.

With injuries on the defensive line, general manager Ted Thompson activated first-year pro Jordan Miller earlier this week and cut So'oto in order to clear a roster spot.

So'oto began his NFL career in Green Bay as an undrafted free agent in 2011 and made the team out of training camp as a rookie. So'oto was still with the Packers at the start of this season but was released Sept. 10, at which point he signed with the Oakland Raiders and played four games before being waived Nov. 6.

So'oto has played only two snaps this season with Green Bay.
