GREEN BAY, Wis. — For the second time this season, the Packers are inviting fans to help clear snow and ice from Lambeau Field.
Two days before Green Bay hosts the Minnesota Vikings in the playoffs, the team is looking for 600 fans to show up at 9 a.m. Thursday to help get the stadium ready.
On Dec. 21, more than 1,000 fans showed up to shovel at least a foot of snow out of Lambeau Field, but there were only 650 shovels able to be distributed. Fans who do make it in are paid $10 per hour.
There isn't much snow in the forecast, but some has accumulated in the stadium over the past few days. Additionally, there is some ice on the seats that fans would help salt away.
