Outkick's Week 3 Gambling Picks For 2016
Hate to brag, but we have been on fire out of the gates in week one and two of the college football season. We went 7-3 in week one and followed that up with 6-3 in week two, meaning we are now a robust 13-6 on the season, for a winning percentage of 68.4%.
Can we be perfect in week three?
Of course we can.
But first I want to ask a favor of all of you making gobs of money off Outkick's free college football picks, you have to join our morning talk radio revolution and start listening from 6-9 am eastern. I promise you that this morning's show will entertain the hell out of you. Listen to it here. Every single morning when you get to the office bookmark this page if you can't listen and the podcast will be up.
This morning Bret Bielema was our guest and he explained that he used to pretend to be a history professor specializing in European religions when he met girls. Including, his wife.
Where else can you get gold like this?
If you like Outkick, you will love our nationwide morning radio show.
Okay, now it's time to make you rich.
And this week my cup overfloweth with picks. I've got 15 picks for you guys.
15!
Yep, we're going 15-0 this week.
So here we go:
Houston at Cincinnati, the over 64.5
Look, what do we know about Thursday night road games in college football? Weird ass things happen. I'm not saying that Cincinnati is going to win, but I am saying they are going to score at least 28 points. That means all we need to cover from Houston is 37 points. Are you kidding me? Tom Herman has had two weeks to get ready for this game, he scores 38 points in his sleep.
Get your weekend off to an early roll with an easy over.
Florida State at Louisville, the over 65
I absolutely love a ton of overs this weekend, but the over in FSU-Louisville is a given. Have you seen this Petrino offense? They could score 50 on the 2000 Baltimore Ravens.
Meanwhile his defense has no hope against this FSU offense.
The result? POINTS.
I also took Louisville +3 as soon as this line came out, but it's down to +1.5 or +2 now so I'm telling you guys to just play the over.
MTSU at Bowling Green, the over 72
MTSU has no defense and neither does Bowling Green.
I know it's a big number, but these teams are both blowing through it.
Trust me, this weekend is made for overs.
Vanderbilt +6.5 at Georgia Tech
The Dores are winning outright in Atlanta.
You may think I'm crazy with this prediction, but what's even crazier? Vandy getting 6.5 points against a team that can't score.
You know how Georgia Tech usually takes advantage of dumb defenses that can't stay in position and haven't prepared for their offense? Vandy's defense is the exact opposite, disciplined and smart. This is a brutal, grind it out game that sees Ralph Webb score late to seal the win for the Commodores.
Boston College at Virginia Tech, the under 42.5
Neither of these teams could score in a whorehouse.
Take the under, you'll be glad that you did.
South Florida at Syracuse, the over 73
You know where our old covering hombre from Bowling Green, Dino Babers, went? To Syracuse. And now he's playing South Florida, which has scored 56 and 48 in their first two games?
73?
Please.
These two teams are going for 100 points.
Miami at App State +3.5
What happens when a team travels to a tiny stadium in the middle of nowhere North Carolina to play against a team that would have never believed Miami would ever be in their stadium?
THE HOME TEAM COVERS.
I think App State wins outright, but giving me 3.5 points here?
The gambling gods are too kind.
Get rich, kids.
Michigan State +8 at Notre Dame
So you're telling me Mark Dantonio, the third best coach in college football, had two weeks to prepare for Notre Dame and I get eight points?
Go ahead and tell your bookie to pay you in advance.
Texas A&M +3.5 at Auburn
The wrong team is favored here.
Texas A&M is better than Auburn and I get them +3.5? So even if Auburn wins by a field goal, I still win?
Come on, you can't be serious.
Aggies, beat the hell out of your bookie.
Ohio State -1 at Oklahoma and the over 63
Urban Meyer vs. Bob Stoops is like me vs. Tom Brady in the looks department.
Just a downright mismatch.
Put simply, Urban Meyer doesn't lose games like these. He's a robot designed to destroy the dreams of Sooner fans.
Alabama -10.5 at Ole Miss
Alabama is winning this game by three touchdowns.
I'm not even sure I need to watch.
It's going to be so ugly Ole Miss is going to be glad Colonel Reb is banned from the stadium and didn't have to see it in person.
Georgia -6.5 at Mizzou
Look, I'm going to be honest with y'all, I have no idea what happens in this game. But if Georgia doesn't beat Mizzou by at least a touchdown then the Bulldogs are a fraud.
I don't believe the Bulldogs are a fraud.
So I'm taking Georgia to win big here.
Mississippi State +14 at LSU, and the under 44.5
Right now I wouldn't favor LSU by 14 over air.
It's a low scoring and ugly game, LSU wins 17-13.
This is stealing.
...
There you have it, boys and girls 15-0 is coming.
Get rich!
