Our 'comment of the day' comes from captainthumper

The fallout continues over Josh Gordon's Tweets from last Thursday night.
In case you forgot, Gordon Tweeted that he wanted to ride the victory floats with the Miami Heat after they won the NBA Championship. While that may be an unwise thing to proclaim when you play for a Cleveland team, it was still his right.
However, with a checkered past already hurting the Browns, maybe he should rethink upsetting his fans.
Take for example, the comment posted by captain thumper;

The more I learn about Gordon the angrier I get. I am angry not just because the betrayal he committed by associating himself with Cleveland's very own Benedict Arnold but his incredible displays of selfishness throughout his playing career! Failed drug tests and excuses! We have not even reached the preseason yet and I would consider benching him for the entire season! Yes! I just said that! Why? I will tell you! Integrity that's why! I have been a diehard all things Cleveland fan my entire life and I was raised by a st. Ignatius and John Carroll product who being my dad was my coach in everything growing up and the constant message I always got from him was how you win will define you. And that the one thing worse than a loss would be an empty victory! For my part, as much as I want the browns to win, how they win is more important to me. When the browns win I don't want to have to justify or defend a roster filled with self-serving punks. I would rather lose. Fortunately we don't have a roster full of punks but we do have one! But it is not too late for Gordon if he can mature quickly and sincerely. As I have said in other posts, myself being the coach would have Gordon on a leash so short when not on the field that at the base of my feet would be the only distance between us! One display of poor character would relegate him to the bench for the year!

Well said.  Our hats are off to you today!
