Oklahoma State sophomore guard Marcus Smart was the only non-NBA player to be invited to the USA Basketball Men’s National Team mini camp next week in Las Vegas.

There are 28 other players invited to the cap which will have daily practices and then a game on July 25 at the Thomas & Mack Arena at UNLV.

Smart just led the USA’s Under 19 team to the FIBA Under 19 World Championships. He averaged 9.6 points and 2.4 steals per game during the tournament.

Smart was expected to be a lottery pick in June’s NBA draft, but opted to come back to Oklahoma State for another season.

Other NBA players invited to Las Vegas include DeAndre Jordan of the Clippers, Kyrie Irving of Cleveland, Harrison Barnes of Golden State, Paul George of Indiana, Ty Lawson of Denver, John Wall of the Wizards and Mike Conley of Memphis.
