OSU-OU game moved back to December during 2016 season

The Big 12 Conference released its 2016 schedule today and Oklahoma will open Big 12 play at TCU, play a Thursday night game at Iowa State and finish the conference season against Oklahoma State in Norman

The Sooners will play at Houston and home against Ohio State before Big 12 play and then get a stretch of at TCU, Texas, Kansas State and at Texas Tech to open Big 12 play.

Meanwhile, the game against OSU is on Dec. 3 – part of a full schedule the first week of December to try and combat the fact the Big 12 doesn't have a championship game.

OU will have two bye weeks, including the week of Thanksgiving in advance of the season finale vs. Oklahoma State.
