University of Georgia fans will have a special rooting interest when the U.S. Open begins Monday in New York.
The two top-seeded American men in the field each have ties to the Bulldogs. Andy Roddick, a former U.S. Open winner, is the highest seeded U.S. talent in the field at No. 9, and John Isner is next at No. 18.
Roddick is the younger brother of former UGA All-American John Roddick, who also was an assistant coach at Georgia and his brother
