Olympian Michael Phelps to appear behind ASU's 'Curtain of Distraction'
Arizona State's "Curtain of Distraction" has attracted worldwide notice for the antics of a select group of Sun Devil fans stationed along the baseline of Wells Fargo Arena for the express purpose of distracting opposing free-throw shooters.
But the notoriety should be ratcheted up to new levels for Thursday night's game against Oregon State as the most decorated athlete in Olympic history makes a curtain call.
Eigthteen-time gold-medal-winning swimmer Michael Phelps, currently training in Tempe for the Summer Olympics in Brazil, apparently has promised to make an appearance with the curtain crew.
