The suspense is over, Ohio State will get to play in the inaugural College Football Playoff.
The final rankings were released Sunday afternoon and Ohio State checked in No. 4 behind No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Oregon, and No. 3 Florida State.
Ohio State will take on Alabama in the Allstate Sugar Bowl January 1 in New Orleans.
Also, the semifinal will be another matchup between Urban Meyer and Nick Saban who had some classic showdowns while facing each other in the SEC.

Meyer said yesterday that the Buckeyes were one of the four best teams in the country following their 59-0 win over Wisconsin, and clearly the committee agreed.
