Ohio State backup defensive end Tracy Sprinkle was being held at Lorain City Jail on Saturday facing charges of drug possession, drug paraphernalia, failure to disperse and rioting after an incident at a bar, according to The Elyria Chronicle-Telegram.

A team spokesperson told FOX Sports Ohio the university is still gathering information regarding the incident and Sunday morning Sprinkle has been suspended indefinitely by head coach Urban Meyer, who is on vacation.

The 19-year-old Sprinkle is a native of Elyria, Ohio. According to the reports, Sprinkle was arrested between 2 and 3 a.m. and was being held as late as 11:40 a.m. Sunday.

A police report (obtained by both Cleveland.com and the Columbus Dispatch) says Lorain Police responded to a disturbance at the Grown and Sexy Bar in the Northeast Ohio city and found fights both inside and outside the establishment. Another man who was also arrested told police Sprinkle hit him in the face with a bottle, but Sprinkle denied being part of a fracas.
