Ohio Governor John Kasich tweeted out a resolution declaring Saturday to be "Scarlet Letter Saturday" in support of Ohio State's game against Michigan, and recognizing the members of the college playoff selection committee as "Honorary Ohioans."

Kasich and Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor signed the resolution encouraging all Ohioans to avoid using the letter "M" where possible and "send positive vibes" to the newly declared honorary Ohioans in the coming weeks as they decide which teams will be included in the college football playoffs.

Ohio State is currently the sixth-ranked team according to the committee, with only the top four teams advancing to the first college football playoff.

Ohio State hosts the Wolverines on Saturday to finish the regular season. The Buckeyes will play in the Big Ten Championship game on December 6th in Indianapolis.

Governor Kasich signed a similar "Scarlet Letter" resolution last year, as the Buckeyes traveled to Ann Arbor and won 42-41 when defensive back Tyvis Powell intercepted a two-point conversion to seal the game for Ohio State.
