Oh, Lord ... Tim Tebow has done it this time

So, do you have anywhere from $50-$150 burning a hole in your pocket? How about using that to catch some wobbly passes from Tim Tebow? That's right, the Jets' backupp quarterback went down to his home state of Florida this weekend and charged fans money to train with him at the D1 Sports Training and Therapy center in Tampa. FOX Sports Florida has the story right here. Tebow was really looking forward to the opportunity.

  Kids as young as 7 and grown men with families and mortgages plunked down their allowances and grocery budgets to learn stretch techniques, run football drills and in the main event, get some playing time with Tebow. The former Gators hero spilled emotion, celebrating with teammates, yelling (not in a mean way) over dropped balls and saluting the man upstairs after touchdown tosses. "Never settle for being average," Tebow said to a group of kneeling 12-14 year olds. OK, we here at Laces Out would love to respond to that comment, but it's kinda low-hanging fruit, right? Let's leave that alone. But hey, if you want to get in on some of this action, Tebow will hold a similar event in Orlando on Sunday. And who knows, maybe this will happen:
